Use technology and coding to mimic bats’ echolocation abilities.Participants will explore how to use technology to mimic the unique echo location capabilities of different mammals like whales, dolphins, and, of course, bats. Using a micro:bit processor and its associated ultra sonic sensor, the participants will learn block coding skills to write a small program to measure distance using echo location concepts.
This program is for kids in grades 5-8.
