For Babies and Toddlers

 Here at Camrose Public Library we are committed to ensuring that every child is ready to read by the time they reach school age. Every month, we feature a tip to help you and your child develop early literacy skills. We are advocates for literacy and early literacy, and offer a variety of programs for our young library users.

Early literacy is important for children, what they know about reading and writing before they begin to do so. The Library offers free memberships for children ages of 0-17 if they reside in the City of Camrose or the County of Camrose (this does not apply for residents of Ferintosh). Visit us often, and bring home books to read together!

Programs for Babies & Toddlers: These session times run from January 5 to June 19, 2015

The library offers a variety of regular programs for your baby or toddler, helping to support early literacy Join us for learning, laughter, and so much more. Listed below are all of our regulary scheduled programs for children from birth to age 3. For more information, please contact the library.

Books and Bounces (0-2 Years) 
Stories, rhymes, songs, and fingerplays for babies and their parents or caregivers.
Tuesdays, 10:00-10:45 AM
Free Drop-in Program

Tales for Twos and Threes (2-3 Years) 
Toddler-iffic themed tales, action rhymes, games and crafts for toddlers and their parents or caregivers.
Tuesdays and Thursdays: (identical programs), 11:00-11:45 AM

Bedtime Storytime (0-5 Years) 
Enjoy stories, laughter, and learning with bedtime storytime. Come in your P.J.s for a story, a craft, and a snack of milk and cookies!
Wednesdays 7:00-7:30 PM
